About Anya
I am a qualified Equine Podiotherapist (Dip) and I have been working as a trimmer - and continuing to educate myself - for over 20 years now. I am concentrating these days on rehabbing 'problem feet' and educating people. I am also a trained boot fitter.

I have had a lot of experience now not only with healthy, strong hooves, but with a variety of problems, including the dreaded laminitis and 'navicular syndrome'. I am confident I can treat and prevent well 90% of hoof related lameness and problems, with the right management.

I have studied behavioural psychology and equine behaviour, and have trained many horses, using predominantly positive reinforcement(reward based) training.

About Darcy
Darcy is currently (2022) in Year 12 VCE & is 18yo. He has completed his Certificate 3 in Equine Studies.
He has grown up with horses, dogs, breeding chooks, has always had a great love, empathy and ability with animals. He has helped train and trim horses for a fair few years.
He has broken in & trained horses himself for a couple of years and has become a more than competent hoof trimmer & horse handler. For the past 6 months or so, he has been working with me, supervised, and has proven himself 'in the field'(literally!).
